Leprechaun biscuits…

With less than 3 weeks until St. Patrick’s Day, we have leprechauns on our mind!  And that inspired today’s recipe…Leprechaun Biscuits!  (Think green-colored cheddar biscuits!)


  • 1 cup Bisquick
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (we used cheddar)
  • a bit more than 1/3 cup H2O (add more if the dough is too dry) with a few drops of green food dye
  • 3  TBSP. butter, melted
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder (optional)


  1. combine Bisquick and cheese
  2. add H2O; stir until just combined
  3. drop onto lightly sprayed cookie sheet (about 12 mounds)
  4. bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes
  5. mix melted butter and garlic powder
  6. brush butter mix over baked, warm biscuits
  7. serve warm (reheat in microwave, if necessary)
